Pasteboard Recorder 3E is a clipboard data storing utility for Mac. This software can record and store pasteboard informations automatically for reuse.

And now, it gets new features which work with Evernote®.

Evernote Oriented Features


Check And Upload

It is easy to upload to Evernote. Mark the copied items on table which you want upload, and Click [Upload Now] on Evernote Access Panel. And you can change tags on the panel. Pasteboard Clips have data values of multiple types. Texts and Images are selected and converted to adoptable on Evernote.

AutoCheck and AutoUpload

You can select the mode of marking item to upload at the time of copying. And you can configure automatical upload on regular intervals.

Download by tags

You can download texts and resources as Pasteboard Items from default notebook of Evernote. You can specify the notes by tags and offset.


This software is designed for default notebook access for ease, And if you want to change default notebook, you should use official client.

Upload multiple files by Finder's copy

You can copy multiple files on Finder and upload to Evernote on one note or multiple notes. And you can combine automatical upload, it makes full-auto-background-upload-to-evernote-environment completely.

Hot Key Upload is supported

You can use the hot key instead of [Upload Now] Button.

Evernote Access Panel

Evernote Access Panel is easy access(show/hide) by short cut key.

Advanced Features

WebArchive to PDF

Support to convert WebArchive(Safari's Pasteboard Type) to PDF on uploading. Partial clipping web pages are able to be stored without broken.

URL to PDF

Support to generate PDF from clipped URL string on uploading. This function enables to store PDF pages which is real unreaded.


The features are on testing phase and set Off in default. Those setting are enabled on Preferences.

Inspector Panel and Data Export

You can watch the value of Pasteboard Datas of selected item on new Inspector Panel. If the datas are Image/ PDF/ Audio/ Movie/ RTF formats, you can watch (and listen) the rendered value.

Image Link

You can show the image from URL which has an image. We planned it to aim to work together with Gyazo application which presented by Toshiyuki Masui.


Convert to Plain Text

At any time, the current pasteboard items can be converted into plain text only. When you paste to Stickies and Evernote from Web browser, it is recommended function to avoid to paste with HTML(Rich Text) attributes. (2.06 or later)

(1) Install Growl (optinal)
(2) Sign up Evernote (optinal)
(3) Install from Mac App Store

Startup and configure

You can configure to set your Evernote account via startup dialog.

FAQ

Q. Hot Keys?

A. Hot key is callable from another application and Finder. Pasteboard Recorder supports a lot of hot keys. Those list is here. And you will be able to configure the assignments of hotkeys(3.1.0 or later). just a moment.

Q. Can I close Evernote Panel on sending and receiving?

A. Yes. No problem. Those are operated asynchronously.

Q. Can I modify the PDF capture size?

A. Yes. please see Advanced on preferences.

Q. Can I do download and see the PDF and other types from Evernote?

A. Yes. but this software has the restriction. Pasteboard Recorder can get one resource per one mime-type. You can see the value of PDF on Inspector Panel. And you can export as a PDF file.



Q. Why can not my PR3e send data to Evernote?

A. There is a worst sequence case on registering KeyChain(3.1.0). If you cannot send data to Evernote on first time unfortunately, please retry as following
1. remove www.evernote.com on /Application/Utility/keyChain
2. remove ~/Library/Preferences/net.tmiz.pasteaboardrecorder3e.plist
3. run Pasteboard Recorder 3E and set Evernote account again.
4. copy text on other application
5. check item for uploading Evernote
6. open Evernote Panel and upload it.
This problem had been fixed on 3.1.1.

PR3e uses Ground Central Dispatch. It works on Mac OS X 10.6 or later only.
